Sue Kelly Principal Consultant
CAHRI, MAICDDue to her passion for Human Resource Management, Sue established HR4Business in 2009. As Director and Principal Consultant of the business, Sue provides advice to clients on strategic and operational matters in relation to Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
Sue specialises in the implementation of and improvement to HR frameworks, conducting HR Compliance Audits in line with the NES / Fair Work Act 2009, including the analysis of employee provisions against award entitlements, undertaking formal workplace investigations and mediation sessions, Enterprise Agreement negotiations, the provision of training and advice in relation to management of employee performance and the prevention of discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace and representation and management of matters including unfair dismissal claims. Sue has a keen interest in assisting business owners and Boards of Management move toward best practice HR practices across both operational activities and strategic intent.
Sue attained a Diploma in Human Resource Management at Monash University, is a qualified facilitator and a trained mediator and investigator and has experience across a vast array of industries including education, oil and gas, insurance, disability, health, pharmaceuticals, construction, not for profit, retail, community services, engineering and legal. She also has certification in the DISC behaviour assessment tool.
In 2009 Sue established HR Colleagues Professional Network Geelong facilitating’ s regular gatherings in a variety of formats including topical forums or an interesting and informative guest speakers. In 2016 the Network merged with the Australian Human Resources Institute Geelong Network of which Sue has been an active Committee member for 7 years.
Kim Schneider Senior HR Consultant
Kim is a qualified HR Professional with extensive experience in the Human Resources industry having worked across a broad range of HR disciplines including HR Operations, Industrial Relations, Recruitment, Learning and Organisational Development. As Senior HR Consultant with HR4Business Kim is committed to partnering with businesses to develop and implement robust HR strategies and practices. Kim can provide quality advice and service across a range of areas including, development of HR Programs and Policies, Organisational Design, Recruitment and Succession Planning, Change Management, Training and Facilitation, Performance Management, Workplace Culture and Health and Safety along with quality generalist HR advice. Kim’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Human Resources and Marketing.
Dee Brown Senior HR Consultant
Dee is an experienced senior HR practitioner with over 25 years’ experience in leadership and change management roles in arts, creative, technology and education sector in both Australian and international organisations. With a broad generalist background across strategic and operational HR initiatives, Dee brings high-level consultancy skills and business partnering experience across the HR function providing advice and coaching in operational HR, Industrial Relations, Investigations and Mediations, Performance Management, Change Management, Organisational Development, Recruitment & Induction, Cultural Engagement programs, Outplacement & Career development services and WH&S. Further, Dee implemented Health and Wellbeing Programs with a high success rate. Dee’s qualifications include Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management with Charles Sturt University.
Sonia McDonald Executive Assistant
Sonia is driven by the opportunity to organise and provide remarkable customer service to our clients, assisting in any way she can. Her high level of experience in administration management along with her ability to organise, direct and implement a continuous smooth running of our office has made her a perfect fit for HR4Business.
Sonia joined the team in 2019 and offers one on one support to Sue Kelly and the team in achieving a happy and productive workflow along with developing a strong working relationship with businesses in continuing to provide to our clients the excellence in service that you have come to know and expect.
Jack Kelly Administration Assistant
Jack assists the team at HR4Business with administrative duties on a regular basis. He is currently studying at Deakin University in Geelong.
Courtney Johnson HR Administration Assistant
Courtney is currently in her fourth year of study, completing a double degree of a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resource Management at Deakin University. Courtney has a strong drive and passion within the area of workplace law and employment relations.
She joined the team at HR4Business in 2020 as a HR Intern, assisting the team with a range of administrative tasks and duties. Courtney has since been employed as a HR Administration Assistant on a casual basis.
