Amy Drylie Director
With over a decade of experience leading HR and operational functions across mining, logistics, government, financial services, construction, and the not-for-profit sector, Amy brings both strategic clarity and practical execution to every engagement. Working across Brisbane and Geelong, and supporting clients along the Eastern Seaboard, she delivers grounded expertise in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, built through real-world experience in complex environments.
Amy does not offer generic or one-size-fits-all consulting. She partners with clients to understand their business, workforce dynamics, and leadership priorities, delivering tailored support that is practical, commercially aware, and genuinely aligned. From the boardroom to the frontline, she remains hands-on, responsive, and focused on building strategies that work in practice, not just on paper.
Her capability spans formal workplace investigations, mediation, change management, whistleblowing governance, complex employee and performance management matters, workplace wellbeing, and employee experience initiatives. She also conducts comprehensive HR compliance audits (including Fair Work and NES obligations), policy reviews, and delivers ready-to-implement policy packages to improve compliance and operational consistency.
With a Master of Business Administration (Human Resources Management), accreditation as an IECL Organisational Coach, and extensive experience as an investigator, Amy brings both academic credibility and practical rigour to her work. Sue Kelly Principal Consultant
CAHRI, MAICDDue to her passion for Human Resource Management, Sue established HR4Business in 2009. As Director and Principal Consultant of the business, Sue provides advice to clients on strategic and operational matters in relation to Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations.
Sue specialises in the implementation of and improvement to HR frameworks, conducting HR Compliance Audits in line with the NES / Fair Work Act 2009, including the analysis of employee provisions against award entitlements, undertaking formal workplace investigations and mediation sessions, Enterprise Agreement negotiations, the provision of training and advice in relation to management of employee performance and the prevention of discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace and representation and management of matters including unfair dismissal claims. Sue has a keen interest in assisting business owners and Boards of Management move toward best practice HR practices across both operational activities and strategic intent.
Sue attained a Diploma in Human Resource Management at Monash University, is a qualified facilitator and a trained mediator and investigator and has experience across a vast array of industries including education, oil and gas, insurance, disability, health, pharmaceuticals, construction, not for profit, retail, community services, engineering and legal. She also has certification in the DISC behaviour assessment tool.
In 2009 Sue established HR Colleagues Professional Network Geelong facilitating’ s regular gatherings in a variety of formats including topical forums or an interesting and informative guest speakers. In 2016 the Network merged with the Australian Human Resources Institute Geelong Network of which Sue has been an active Committee member for 7 years.
